Tarot Card for April - The Wheel
This month's card is The Wheel, drawn from The Sacred Circle Tarot, A Celtic Pagan Journey by Anna Franklin. It is equivalent to the Fortune card in some traditional Tarot decks. Paul Masson’s illustration frames the wheel with the symbols of the four elements in this interpretation.
The message is that changes are coming. Some are predictable; some are not. The key to weathering the change is to stay centered and balanced.
The Celtic calendar is a wheel that depicts the cycle of the seasons following both the cycle of sun and moon. The spring equinox, Celebration of Easter, and coming of Beltane are joined by the blossoms of daffodils, tulips, and hyacinths, which are part of the inevitable change of seasons.
But, 2024 has been a year of accelerated change as the planets realign in powerful ways. Eclipses of both moon and sun within the last month are wild cards that add extra punch to the usual coming of spring.
As the wheel of life turns, it speeds up and sends new energies:
May you ride the winds of change with ease and grace.
May the light of both Sun and Moon fill you with joy.
And may your garden blossom with good will.
