Wren's Day

For me the day after Christmas is usually Reading and Left Overs Day. In Ireland it is Wren’s Day, Lá an Dreoilín, Day of the Wren, or Hunt the Wren Day.

By whatever name, I love the idea of a tradition that shares the good tidings of the season and wonder why it never made it across the pond to America as so many other Celtic traditions did.
