May Oracle Card - Fire Spirit
In honor of May Day, our oracle card for this month is drawn from the Sacred Forest Oracle by Denise Linn. As always seems to be the case, the card has a serendipitous match to the present situation.
Our author tells us that the card is about “ an extraordinary life force energy that surges through your body and through the land.” As the lightning struck, you could feel “the vigor of the forest expanding magically”.
May Day and the Celtic Fire Festival of Spring Beltane are ancient traditions that celebrate the coming of the Light, new growth and seasonal beginnings. Not only did people joyfully dance around the May Pole, but couples jumped the fire as part of spring mating rituals.
The card for May then is Fire Spirit-ENERGY.

She further states that this is a card of action, a call for moving forward with vigor, strength and passion. Astrologers are all also telling us that this is an extraordinary time for action and that the planets are aligned to offer us a surge of positive energy for change even stronger than what we've experienced previously. We are being challenged to speak our truth, step forward, and take action.
