I was thinking about the upcoming July 4 holiday here in the US, when I pulled this card. Once, again, a serendipity comes through in the cards. The EAGLE is our oracle card for July. It is the national symbol for the USA, and holds a significant place in the cultures of many other nations.

Read MoreOnce again, there is serendipity in our monthly tarot card draw. The message to Get Unstuck serves us well as we emerge from the cocoon of Covid. What better challenge than to get unstuck from our holding pattern, unstuck from our old ways and unstuck from what blocks us from embracing the change we promised ourselves we would make if we survived all the craziness and fear of 2020.
Read MoreI am usually in Ireland the month of May. So you can bet that when I saw a t-shirt on Facebook with the banner NOTRIPPHOBIA (the fear of not having any trips booked), I took a long look. Then I thought about the power of words and how negative statements can attract or reinforce negative outcomes while positive statements lead to positive results.
Read MoreOur card for the month of April is The Well of Segais from The Celtic Oracle Deck by John Matthews. It represents the element of water and reminds us of the power and critical importance of water. As April showers prevail this month and will grow May flowers, perhaps the card is asking us to take time to be grateful for water, to find ways to protect its purity and stop its waste. There are a number of Irish legends about the Well of Segais. All are meant to remind us that wisdom comes from understanding the interconnectedness of life and honoring the nurturing elements Nature has given us.

Thus, the snowdrop is its symbol and green and white are its colors. Here is the US, it is Groundhog Day. But to the Celtic people it was lambing time. Thus, it is called “The Christmas Star”. Feels to me like we are having the opportunity to birth a new country as then and a New Earth as at the birth of Christ.
Read MoreI chose Denise Linn’s Sacred Traveler Oracle Cards for December’s card draw because I assume many of you, like myself, are itchy to travel again. Of course, it is 2020. The Universe did not give me the kind of message I expected. Instead, we were given a challenge: Answering the Call.
Read MoreWhen we resist change, when we try to control change, and when we modify Nature to suit our earthly comforts or create a false economy, we upset the flow and the rhythms of life.
Read my thoughts on working through roller coaster times and a Celtic Blessing to settle the chaos.
Read MoreWe all need “soft days in the fresh” to take stock, ground ourselves, and connect with Nature. Sometimes Nature and the Universe hand such a day to us on a platter. Other times, we need to seek out that place. Perhaps, a walk into a woods, perhaps an old-fashioned lemonade under a shade tree, or dipping one’s toes in the water.
Read MoreI had never thought much about how the stars and planets align and what that might mean for my life and the life of our planet. In the last month, there was tremendous celestial activity: three eclipses. The power of the skies was not to be ignored.
